I joined BMI’s procurement team about two and a half years ago. I had previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry and for a medical devices company as a buyer, and knew I wanted to remain in private healthcare as it’s such an interesting industry.
What has been the most enjoyable thing about working at BMI Healthcare?
I love being able to see the impact that my work has on the business. Procurement here is about saving money, of course, but we’re also very focussed on delivering real value to our stakeholders and giving our internal customers a great experience when we work together.
How would you describe the culture in your team?
Our work is valued by the company, which is really motivating. The team is a great one to work in – there’s a sense of healthy competition to deliver savings, but we are also very collaborative and it’s a fun atmosphere.
